Beige Givenchy dress

For her first solo royal engagement with Queen Elizabeth II, Meghan Markle opted to keep things neutral and classy (unsurprisingly). And while she did not wear a hat or fascinator with her outfit of choice, the Duchess of Sussex did choose a more demure dress for the occasion, opting for a neutral color palette for her wardrobe.

The Duchess went with a beige dress from Givenchy that completely covered her shoulders. In fact, we would like this look to a closed cape, as it covered Meghan nearly to her elbows.

To give just the right pop to the outfit, the Duchess of Sussex went with a thin black belt, along with her Sarah Flint black heels and a small black clutch. Overall, this look was all about staying neutral and giving the Queen the spotlight.

Even the Duchess’ makeup and jewelry were minimalist, with Meghan opting for a simple bracelet, her ring, and a pair of earrings that were said to have been a gift from the queen. And even her hair was let down for this look.

The look was very sheik and elegant. Clearly, the duchess was ready for her first solo outing with the Queen, at least in terms of what she wore.
