10. Olaf (Frozen and Olaf’s Frozen Adventure)

Did you expect to see Olaf make our list of cheerful holiday characters? Honestly, he simply could not be left off the list. Not only is he a snowman (of course), but he is eternally happy. And the fact that he has his own holiday adventures means that he deserves to be on this list just like all of the other characters we have mentioned.

Whether in Frozen or Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, Olaf has proven that he is an eternal optimist with a sunny disposition. Even though he was at one point an inanimate object, he has since become a really good friend to Anna and Elsa, and of course Sven. (Although we love Sven, he didn’t make the cut for this list.)

And when he learns about the holidays in his own adventure alongside Sven, it’s fun to see him talking to people about their holiday traditions. We definitely got a kick out of him exchanging his carrot for a candy cane as a nose and then getting a sugar rush. Check out the video we chose to see him getting into the holiday spirit, singing about traditions and reminding us all that fire is perhaps not the safest thing ever, especially for a snowman.

And really, we just love Olaf and his appreciation for life and hugs. So, he has to make the cheerful list for the holidays.
