Nightflyers is the latest work from George R.R Martin to be created into a television show, and it brings fear, hope, and the destruction of humanity as we know it to television.

Watching an episode of Nightflyers is like sitting on the edge of your seat, constantly afraid of what is lurking behind the corner of the ship. Then again, everyone is out for their own agenda, so it isn’t a bad idea to be on your toes while flying to meet the volcryn.

Set on the Nightflyer, the crew is preparing to make contact with an alien race known as the volcryn, bringing along an L1 named Thale, who is a telepath, to talk to the volcryn when they get there. The problem is that many of the crew are afraid of the L1, and, throughout the beginning of the series, the crew has to learn to work together.

But through the discovery of another ship, traveling closer and closer to the volcryn, and trying to figure out what is happening to them in deep space, the crew of the Nightflyer comes in contact with terrifying foes every step of the way.

What makes the list for the 10 most terrifying moments in all of Nightflyers? We have all the twists and turns that had us screaming, thanking the volcryn we weren’t on the ship, and wishing we could yell at the crew to watch out for those around them that they are calling their “friends.” See if your scariest moment makes the list!
