At the closing ceremony for the Invictus Games, Meghan Markle had the chance to speak on stage. The Duchess of Sussex chose a simple tuxedo dress in a deep green that featured a halter top for an added statement. The unique dress was accented with a single poppy pinned to her lapel once again.

And the shoes she paired with the dress were a lovely nude color that still made an impact thanks to the exaggerated ankle strap. The Duchess went even more minimal with her jewelry as well, considering the only thing we can see besides her ring is a pair of earrings and a single, simple bangle bracelet.

For as simple as this tuxedo style dress really is, this Antonio Berardi piece was definitely one of her more expensive choices (technically this dress came in towards the middle of the pack in terms of cost), coming in at approximately $2,140.

We honestly enjoy this outfit because it is a more simple look thanks to the clean lines of the tuxedo style and the solid green color. Plus, by pairing it with these heels, the Duchess shows us that you can be a bit bold with shoes, even in a nude color.
