Remembrance Day dress
In honor of Remembrance Day, the royal family attended a service at Westminster Abbey on Nov. 11, which means we got another lovely and regal outfit from Meghan Markle. With such an important occasion being commemorated, the duchess opted for an all-black outfit that was given a pop of color thanks to the single poppy pin she wore.
According to Elle magazine, the dress the Duchess of Sussex is wearing a “black peacoat dress with bateau neckline,” as well as a “velvet fascinator.” The neckline of the dress was very reminiscent of some of her previous looks (including her wedding dress), although this neckline was more modest than other boatneck outfits that Meghan Markle has worn in the past. And if you are a royal watcher like we are, you may recognize this look, as she has worn something similar in pink.
As one of three outfits that the duchess was spotted wearing on Remembrance Day, we admit that this is definitely our favorite. We love the hint of skin she is showing off, as well as how elegant she looks with her simple fascinator. Perhaps it is the fact that she is able to make simple elegance work so well as a royal that makes this another one of our favorite looks since it was announced that she was pregnant.
