As we’ve been saying, Netflix really does have a little something for everyone to watch this December. If all of these holiday movies about family, reindeer, Santa, and holiday magic make you want to gag, don’t worry. There is something on Netflix for you.

While Chilling Adventures of Sabrina was just released in October, Netflix has already announced a winter special for the show, and we honestly can’t wait. The special called Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: A Midwinter’s Tale comes out on Netflix on the Dec. 14, and we are so excited to see this creepy, witchy winter tale.

If you love your holiday movies with a side of horror or the occult, you’re going to love this one.

According to The Wrap, this is the official synopsis of the special:

"The Church of Night, like all covens, celebrates the Winter Solstice – the longest night of the year – when families gather around the Yule Fire to sing pagan carols and tell ghost stories. But the holidays are also a time for guests and visitors – both welcome and unwelcome. You never know what might come down the chimney…"

We love that this special is all about the winter solstice, and we definitely have plans to watch this on the actual winter solstice itself. You could plan a fun night where you bring your own coven together, get some tarot cards and a yule log, and watch this special on Netflix. We think that’s a pretty perfect way to spend a December night.
