Avengers astrology: Which character best represents each sign?

Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21) — Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch

Scorpios are seemingly known for their fiery personalities, but they’re actually calm individuals. Most of Wanda’s screentime in the MCU has featured her uncontrolled emotions, rage, and desire for vengeance, however. Considering her brief character development and the recent events in Avengers: Infinity War, she’s exemplified notable strength over her emotions that parallel Scorpios’ calm and collected demeanor.

Though Wanda does have a troubling narrative in Avengers: Age of Ultron where she, with her brother of course, initially join HYDRA to avenge their parents’ deaths. At the time, she doesn’t know how to fully control her newly acquired abilities. Her struggle to tame her powers continues in Captain America: Civil War, where she inadvertently harms civilians because of her inexperience with her powers.

Yet, in Avengers: Infinity War, she’s learned how to control her powers to such an extent that’s similar to a Scorpio’s typical judgment skills and emotional strength. Since her abilities are heavily reliant on telepathy and mental manipulation, Wanda needs to have some level of control over her feelings.

Beyond her emotional strength, Wanda also encapsulates a Scorpio’s courage. When she isn’t helping her fellow Avengers and company fend off the Outriders in Wakanda, she also makes the brave decision to sacrifice her loved one, Vision, in hopes to squander Thanos’ attempts to collect all the infinity stones.

Granted, we all know how that eventually turns out.
