Do we really need to have three more movies in the Fantastic Beasts series?

Continuing the narrative of “there are other Harry Potter properties we’d rather see on screen”, do we really need to see three more movies about Fantastic Beasts?

There are literally so many other properties of the Harry Potter series we could be doing instead but Fantastic Beasts still has three movies left. At first, we thought that maybe we’d see them go into the Voldemort era and we’d see a young James, Lily, Sirius, or Remus. But more likely is the fact that we’ll just keep seeing Grindelwald try to start a war.

Why is this the case? Because they just want to keep messing with the timeline apparently. If you saw the movie, you saw that Dumbledore was teaching the wrong course and McGonagall was teaching before she was even born, which is quite a feat!

The movie had its flaws, we’ll just say that, so why not jump ahead in time to a part of the Harry Potter series we all want to see? For years, we’ve asked for a Marauders series or for people to finally let us see what Hogwarts was like at the rise of Voldemort. Instead, we get whatever this series is.

So three more movies of Johnny Depp and his weird acting choices and killing off perfectly good characters? Delightful. Please just somehow bring back Leta. She was the best part of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald and then you all went ahead and killed her like she wasn’t anything of importance to us.

Harry Potter has his scars, literally and emotionally, and they help shape him. dark. Next

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is in theaters now. See what Paris has in store for Newt Scamander, Tina Goldstein, and the rest of our favorites from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
