Wedding bell bliss: Celebrities who got married in 2018

Michelle Williams and Phil Elverum

Michelle Williams and Phil Elverum have found love. In a private ceremony, the two wed and Michelle recently opened up about it all to Vanity Fair. 

It is sweet and charming that these two, who have suffered great loss, can come together and find love. One of the big takeaways from the matrimony came from Heath Ledger’s family.

Williams and Heath Ledger were together from 2004 to 2007, and the had a daughter, Matilda. Heath’s father, Kim Ledger, shared his excitement over Michelle’s nuptials.

The two clearly loved each other and with their break up and his eventual death, it was hard to watch Michelle go through it all. Now that she is happy and in a relationship with Phil Elverum, it is wonderful to see her following her heart and doing what makes her happy.

Phil Elverum is a musician who was married to Geneviève Castrée before her untimely death in 2016. Both Michelle and Phil have suffered through loss and it has seemingly brought them closer together. To see them both succeeding in finding love after their pain is lovely and we’re very happy for Michelle and Phil! Congratulations on your wedding!
