Baby fever: Celebrities who had babies in 2018

Now Dale is famous for racing cars of course, but we can add him to the list of famous fathers now. What’s bittersweet about Dale’s recent baby news is his lovely little girl was born the day after what would have been his father Dale Earnhardt’s 67 birthday.

While Dale Earnhardt Jr. is a racing legend in his own right, most know of him because of his father, who tragically died on the track. To see Dale get so excited about fatherhood and the idea of having a child, it makes fans of the family both happy and saddened that Dale Sr. couldn’t see the joy his granddaughter brings to his son.

The couple continually post on social media about their excitement and shared the big news to the world when their daughter was born on April 30. Earnhardt Jr. has plenty of time to take care of his baby girl, named Isla Rose, as he retired from racing at the end of 2017.

None of that seems to bother Jr. though, from his tweets and other posts, he just seems genuinely happy to take on the next task of life. Congratulations to Dale and Amy on their baby girl!
