Dawson may have been your childhood crush but now he’s a new father for the fifth time! He has the cutest little litter of children known to man and the four blonde siblings welcomed their newest member on June 15, right in time for Father’s Day.

To share the announcement, James decided to make a plea with the government to stop separating children from their parents. It was truly amazing and one of the reasons why he is still one of our favorites. He put his fame to good use and made his voice known.

Gwendolyn joins siblings Emilia, 2, Annabel Leah, 4, Joshua, 6, and Olivia, 7½. From his Instagram posts, it is clear that James is truly happy with his children and lovely wife Kimberly! Currently, James is starring on Ryan Murphy’s FX show Pose.

Following the emergence of the underground fashion world in the LGBTQ community, the show is praised for its diversity as well as amazing cast, including James Van Der Beek. It seems as if Dawson is all grown up (he is 41 now) and we’re just happy that he is living the best life.
