Thor: The Dark World
Chris Hemsworth is known for being perfect in every way. As it turns out, he’s also surprisingly funny, too. After seeing his performance in the Marvel movies as the loveable Thor and his fantastic acting skills and delivery in Thor: Ragnorak, it’s no surprise that he would add in his own comedic elements to this popular franchise. We hope that there is more to come from the actor, especially scenes like the one we discovered Hemsworth came up with himself.
Thor: The Dark World, in particular, was much darker than the previous films, but Hemsworth wanted to add a bit of comedic relief to the movie anyway. Thor is known for his very polite behavior after growing up with Asgardian customs. And in one scene, upon visiting Jane Foster’s house, he hangs his hammer up on the coat rack as soon as he enters the apartment.
This led to many speculations from Marvel fans, wondering how the common household item was able to hold up his heavy weapon when none of the Avengers were even able to pick it up themselves. Hemsworth played around with the idea and ended up trying it out while shooting. The crew loved it so much that they decided to keep it in the film.
