Guardians of the Galaxy

At this point, we’re all well aware of Chris Pratt’s ability to add humor to a lot of his roles. He’s certainly the perfect fit for his role as the immature yet heroic Peter Quill in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies.

In the first movie, the Guardians meet a man known as the Collector, who buys all kinds of artifacts and rare items that come from across the galaxy. They bring him an Orb, which happens to be the Power Stone (one of the six Infinity Stones). It seems like a simple enough task, but Quill is the opposite of simple.

Upon arriving to give the Power Stone to the Collector, Gamora looks to Quill who has the stone in his bag. He reaches into his bag to produce the item but ends up fumbling with it for a second before dropping it on the ground. He disappears from the screen to retrieve it before popping back up with it in his hand, wearing a neutral expression on his face.

Pratt actually dropped the orb on accident and decided to stay in character during the scene, and director James Gunn decided to keep it. He loved it because he felt that the hularious moment added to Quill’s character.

Avengers: Infinity War’s home release includes a gag reel and 10 deleted scenes. light. More
