Is The Good Place new tonight, November 22?

The Good Place hasn’t missed a new episode on a Thursday since its fall premiere date. But it’s the right time to take a week off.

You’re all wondering if The Good Place is new tonight on NBC.

The very short, simple answer: No. The longer, still simple answer: No. It’s Thanksgiving!

I mean, the best time to watch The Good Place is any given day. But Thanksgiving feels incredibly appropriate for such a heartfelt show.

Then again, most people aren’t glued to their televisions on Thanksgiving, unless it’s to watch the Detroit Lions lose like they do every year. Or to turn on their televisions and fall into their usual food coma.

So… maybe not the best time to have a new episode air.

But don’t worry! The Good Place will be back next week at its usual time — 8:30 p.m. ET on NBC. With an episode titled “Janet(s),” so it’s bound to be worth the two-week wait, right?

In the meantime, we have plenty of things to discuss. Like if our Soul Squad survived Janet’s void. And what exactly her void looks like. Maybe Derek pops in for a break from Mindy St. Clair. We’ve never seen Janet’s void — nor have we seen any other Good Janets. That’s a little concerning.

Plus, you can always spend Thanksgiving dinner talking with your family or friends about how skewed the point system is to even get into The Good Place. How will Michael go about trying to convince a bunch of eternal demons to completely restructure the system?

Or, the burning question: Will Doug Forcett make it to Edmonton to donate that money to the snail charity? These are the big questions. Don’t hold back just because it’s Thanksgiving. Air all of your grievances — wait, that’s next month during Festivus.

light. Also. The Good Place: What will the end of season 3 have in store?

Relax this Thanksgiving, and don’t fret about missing The Good Place. It’ll be back next week and we’ll get to see just where the end of this season takes us.
