Bucky Barnes: Sugar cookies

Bucky Barnes is not slaving over a stove and cooking anything, despite Steve telling him that he’d help him make something. Still, he’s not Sam Wilson, and he’s not going to show up empty-handed. Bucky is the kind of guy who has manners —  because growing up around Cap’s mom, Sarah Rogers, means he wouldn’t want to let him or her down.

That means he’d probably go to the store and buy some sugar cookies and bring them with him. Sam would make fun of him for not even attempting to put them on a plate or anything, just bringing them in the plastic. Bucky would give it right back to him, saying that at least he brought something.

After a while, Bucky probably starts to get worried everyone is going to hate the sugar cookies and Steve has to tell him it’s fine and shows him that he’s not the only one who brought something pre-made.

They’re sugar cookies so they’re good no matter what, and Bucky is only self-conscious about bringing something store brought for a little while. Then, he gets over it because no one really cares about who brought what. They’re all there to be together and if that means their sugar cookies game from the Whole Foods on the way, that’s fine.
