Star Wars Resistance season 1 episode 7 live stream: Watch online

Poe Dameron returns in the next all-new episode of Star Wars Resistance. This time, he and Kaz receive a distress signal out in space and team up to offer their assistance to a damaged ship.

Last time we saw Poe, he left an inexperienced Kaz behind on the Colossus to find out who’s loyal to the First Order and who isn’t. Since then, Kaz has learned a handful of necessary lessons about life. And while he’s still clumsy as ever, he’s managed to get his hands on crucial information, especially in regards to Captain Doza.

In last week’s episode, Kaz reached out to Poe to pass along what he learned about the mysterious Kylo Ren and the destruction that happened on the planet Tehar. Poe was on another mission at the time, so Resistance pilot Ello Asty took the information on his behalf.

Now, Poe is back and we can only imagine what trouble both him and Kaz will get into once they’re out in space. That said, it would be a welcome change of setting for Kaz, since he’s been stuck on the Colossus with no ship with which to fly. He’s a natural born pilot, so it’s easy to go stir crazy when sitting in one place for an extended period of time.

According to the official synopsis for “Signal from Sector Six”:

"When out on a routine training exercise, a distress signal sends Kaz and Poe to a damaged ship with strange lifeforms on board."

Whatever this “training exercise” entails, it sounds like Poe might be teaching Kaz a few things. While Kaz is an excellent pilot, he definitely needs more discipline in the area, so we look forward to whatever techniques he picks up from Poe that could potentially be of use to him in a future sky race.

We also imagine Kaz will be extremely happy to see Poe again, especially since Kaz has a deep admiration for him and what he’s done with the Resistance. Poe is also Kaz’s main connection back to his real life outside of the Colossus. While Yeager knows Kaz’s secret and gives him shelter and employment as a favor to Poe, Yeager is a constant reminder of his new pretend life. Having Poe around will no doubt give him the recharge he’ll need to continue with his mission.

Someone else who’ll be over-the-moon excited to see Poe? BB-8, of course.

We have no doubt the adorable astromech droid will be elated to see him, especially since Poe keeps leaving BB-8 around with other characters, like Rey in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Finn in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Granted, Poe does that because he trusts BB-8 with his life and he can depend on his little buddy to get the job done. Still, we can’t wait to see their reunion.
