Poldark season 4 episode 7 live stream: Watch online

In this season of Poldark’s penultimate episode, expect more of Demelza and Ross together as well as some surprises to keep the finale exciting.

This is it. There are two more episodes of Poldark left this season, and if you don’t think that things are going to speed up, then boy, have we got a surprise for you.

There’s still a lot to happen, since we expect to see a return to Cornwall for Ross and Demelza before the season’s out.

Quoth the PBS pressroom on this week’s episode:

"The Warleggans’ domestic bliss comes under threat, and as Morwenna takes fate into her own hands, Ross and Demelza encounter deadly complications on their vacation."

Well, it is London. One has to expect that there may be some sort of disease outbreak that threatens the Poldarks as they try and rekindle some of their romance. It might also tie in to his quest to help the poor of England, not just Cornwall; he does spend quite a bit of time examining workhouses and the like and may have picked something up there that he could conceivably spread. Of course, it could just be a flat-out assassination attempt, too. Not everyone likes what he’s doing, after all.

It seems that there may be a parallel to the Warleggans this week as well. Although the synopsis doesn’t specifically state that anyone’s life or health might be in danger, that’s the logical conclusion considering Elizabeth’s announcement in the last episode that she’s pregnant. Much as Dwight is a ridiculously good doctor for the time period, he’s still hindered by the era all the same, and there may not be much he can do to alleviate any issues she may be experiencing. Alternatively, George’s return to politics might not be as smooth as first hoped.

That brings us to Morwenna. Poldark has stretched out her and Drake’s story quite a bit this season, with her constantly telling him to leave her be and his really not listening even though she’s also pregnant. Could “fate into her own hands” mean an attempt to escape her mother-in-law and take her child with her, fleeing to someone else — perhaps a sympathetic Elizabeth or even Drake?
