Harry Potter and the importance of sharing with your friends and family
Going about anything in life alone is hard and the Harry Potter series helped to show everyone that you don’t have to. You can tell those around you.
So often we think that we have to go through things in life on our own but if Harry Potter and his friends taught us anything, it is that that isn’t true. At the end of the day, no matter what is going on in our lives, we should be able to talk to those around you and have them give you advice.
That’s why we should lead by Harry’s example. Whenever he was going through something, those around him were there and helping because he trusted them to do so. He would tell Ron and Hermione what was going on, get their advice, and see what they had to say about everything.
It’s a great lesson for kids to learn. So often we’re told to not share too much or people around us might be annoyed but Harry was always willing to seek help, even when it wasn’t beneficial. Sure, there were times when he probably didn’t want their help (like when Hermione and Ron insisted on coming with him to find the horcruxes. Still, though, they came because it was for Harry.
Harry, Ron, and Hermione, and even everyone else around them, were always there for each other. And, even when they were fighting, still made sure to have each other’s backs. And that’s what we should take from this series, to always be there for one another.
