What do the reviews of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald mean?
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is heading towards theaters and the early reviews don’t look to great for the series. So what does that mean?
While we are excited for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, it seems as if the reviews aren’t too great for the latest in the Harry Potter series. Based on Newt Scamander and his stopping of Grindelwald rising to power, the series had a pretty great start. But from what the early reviews are saying on Twitter, this movie is a bit of a mess.
That being said, we at least have the knowledge that we haven’t seen it yet. We don’t know what to expect of it and it could very much be much better than the early reviews are letting on. Still, most complain about the plot of the movie and how it doesn’t make sense to them.
It is meant to show the relationship between Grindelwald and Dumbledore but, according to Twitter, they see each other as ‘brothers’, which is not how we were lead to believe. The problem with the movie is that we all thought we’d finally get to see the Dumbledore that J.K Rowling revealed to us after the series had ended. But, from what these reviews are saying, they’re ignoring his sexuality.
Who knows though, as stated, we haven’t seen the movie yet. But the early reviews aren’t that promising and we really want this to be an amazing movie! Especially since there are still three more movies to come. We’ll have to wait and see what the movie actually is like when it comes out this November 16.
