The premiere will see Claire and Jamie settling down in their new home, “America the Beautiful” — and officially ending the Droughtlander.

The synopsis for Outlander‘s season 4 premiere is more of a broad outline for the season’s overall arc than a summary of the episode, which is aptly titled “America the Beautiful.” So you know what that means: it’s speculation time, Sassenachs!

We know the Frasers are heading to North Carolina, where they will cross paths with Jamie’s (Sam Heughan) slave-owning aunt Jocasta (Maria Doyle Kennedy), and that season 4 will delve further into Outlander’s specific time travel mythology. Bree and Roger (Sophie Skelton and Richard Rankin) will also be around (sigh).

Here’s that synopsis for Outlander‘s season 4 premiere, per TV Guide:

"Claire and Jamie Fraser try to make a home for themselves in the New World of Colonial America."

But back to “America the Beautiful” and our intrepid heroes. Despite its fantasy and historical trappings, Outlander is escapist romance at its core. So I’m betting the season premiere will make its grand return with some fan service. Claire (Caitriona Balfe) will most likely valiantly save someone’s life using her 20th-century medical training. The Frasers will probably make an enemy or two before the hour is up, because this show loves a good villain.

And there’s gotta be at least one steamy sex scene, right? The third season concluded nearly a year ago, and this is Outlander. The series might as well be called Claire and Jamie 4 Eva and Other Stuff Occasionally Happens.

According to this review from Vulture’s Jen Chaney, the Frasers will also be exposed to the New World’s less-than-honorable aspects in the season 4 premiere. They’ll come across the very active slave trade and the plight of displaced Native Americans. In case you had any doubts, the title “America the Beautiful” is as ironic as it is on-the-nose.

Whatever is in store for Claire and Jamie in the premiere, we’re pumped. It’s been a long Droughtlander, and with everything that’s happening in the world right now, nothing sounds quite as good as settling down to watch two people in love go on their umpteenth adventure. Not to mention Sam Heughan’s accent. Or the clothes. Or the breathtaking landscapes. Or the — well, you get it.
