The Favorite Sister – Jessica Knoll

Jessica Knoll’s The Favorite Sister  combines reality television with psychological thriller, a pairing that can really only end in entertainment and suspense. When five girl bosses appear on a reality show in New York, no one believes the competition will result in murder.

Of course, it does. And as Knoll unravels her story, readers realize that each of the women, aptly donned the “Goal Diggers,” has a potential motive for killing off her castmates. But which woman’s secrets were worth killing for?

The cover design of The Favorite Sister isn’t quite as dark as the story it’s wrapped around. In fact, the art on the cover is pretty pleasing to the eye. The pink umbrella and blue text against the black backdrop jumps out, practically yelling “read me.”

And while most of us won’t own up to reading a book based on its cover alone, you know Knoll’s story sounds like a gripping one.
