Did you need Stephen Colbert doing an impression of Gregory Peck to pick you up today? Here it is along with some more notes on the Kavanaugh story.

Now that the Senate has voted to invoke cloture on Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court, you might need some sort of cheering up. This isn’t completely over yet, and sometimes, a little humor can go a long way. Enter Stephen Colbert with a Gregory Peck impression and a calculator.

Of course, he talked about the confirmation and how it stood as of last night, but we’ll provide you updates below the clip.

Here it is, with a warning for some NSFW language:

As for all of the senators he referred to, here are the latest updates that we have.

Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) announced earlier today that she will vote no on Kavanaugh’s confirmation, having already voted against invoking cloture. Senator Susan Collins (R-ME) is expected to announce her official position later today, but did vote yes on cloture. Senator Jeff Flake (R-AZ) also voted yes on cloture, and will reportedly vote yes on confirmation. On the other side of the aisle, Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) voted to invoke cloture. Finally, Senator Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND) voted no and has announced she will vote against his confirmation.

If you’d like to contact your senators to make your feelings known on how they voted and how you’d like them to vote on the Kavanaugh confirmation, the Senate’s website has a list of every senator linked above.

But Colbert also got to break out an impression that wasn’t of Donald Trump for once. Instead, based on a Senator John Cornyn analogy, he got to try being Gregory Peck as Atticus Finch. If you’d like to make a comparison, here’s a clip from the film:
