Superstore returns for season 4 with Amy and Jonah’s sex tape making things awkward with their co-workers.

If there’s one thing Superstore fans know by now, it’s that workplace hookups rarely end well. Unfortunately, Amy (America Ferrera) and Jonah (Ben Feldman) haven’t learned that lesson quite yet.

The show’s season 3 finale ended with the will-they-won’t-they couple giving into the sexual tension that had been building for seasons in the worst place and at the worst time possible: in the store’s photo room during the Cloud 9 live stream event. Not only did every Cloud 9 shopper in the world witness their impromptu sexcapade, but their co-workers did too.

When the show returns, Amy and Jonah have to answer for their steamy encounter and endure a few jokes at their expense.

NBC’s official synopsis reads:

"On their first day back from suspension, Amy (America Ferrera) and Jonah (Ben Feldman) steel themselves for a barrage of jokes and snide comments about their sex video, while Jeff (guest star Michael Bunin) goes to extreme lengths to win back Mateo (Nico Santos)."

It looks like Amy and Jonah aren’t the only couple going through a rough patch. Mateo’s beau Jeff lost his job after he chose their relationship over a position with corporate and unemployment seemed to dampen their romance a bit. Mateo was fed up with Jeff’s inability to find work and his newfound interest in hiking. It’s nice to know the show hasn’t completely given up on their love affair.
