You might only associate J.K. Rowling to her Harry Potter books but she has written others as well. Her latest being Lethal White. Rowling has announced the release date for her the upcoming story and here is everything you need to know about it.
It’s not written by J.K. Rowling
Well, it is and it isn’t. It is written by J.K. Rowling but she has used her pseudonym Robert Galbraith. You might find this a bit odd but Rowling has her reasons for using the name and has spoken about it on several occasions.
It’s part of the Cormoran Strike Series
Lethal White is in fact the fourth installment of the Cormoran Strike Series. The books that came before it are The Cuckoo’s Calling, The Silkworm and Career of Evil. The story of private detective Cormoran Strike and his assistant Robin Ellacot continues with Lethal White which takes place immediately after the Career of Evil conclusion. There is to be no gap between the third and fourth book.

It’s set for release later this year
Due for release on September 18; J.K. Rowling has spent almost two years writing Lethal White and it is to be the largest book of the series so far.

Lethal White may be the fourth book in the Cormoran Strike Series but there is plenty more to come. Rowling has stated on the past that she plans to write many more, although the exact number is disputed.
The novels have been adapted into a TV series that was first released in the UK before making its way to the U.S. It is assumed that more TV adaptations will follow although nothing has been confirmed.
