The trailer for the highly-anticipated movie was just released by Sony Pictures along with some more information about its stellar cast.
This is not a drill Marvel fans. Sony just released the full official trailer for the upcoming animated movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse!
While we do have to wait a whole year before the next Spider-Man: Homecoming movie is released, this MCU-related film may be just the thing to help us pass the time.
The film centers on the newest young Spider-Man, Miles Morales, as he ventures through his new heroic role. Morales, an Afro-Latinx teen, will be the first non-white representation of Spidey. In the movie, Morales learns the ins and outs of what it means to be a superhero with help from Brooklyn’s own Peter Parker.

Jake Johnson joins the cast as the belove Peter Parker, older and wiser, ready to be Miles’ mentor. Hailee Steinfeld takes on the role of Gwen Stacy, exciting fans as we’ll get to see a bit of Spider-Gwen.
Sony also confirmed other voice actors including: Brian Tyree Henry playing Miles’ father, Luna Lauren Velez as Miles’ mother, Lily Tomlin as Aunt May, Mahershala Ali as Miles’ uncle Aaron, and Liev Schreiber playing the infamous villain Kingpin.
Based on the visual effects and the amazing cast, this movie looks like it is going to be absolutely incredible and entirely worth the wait.
