On Supergirl this week, Kara comes face to face with the third Worldkiller. Here are all the details you need on how to watch the episode.
Since returning from its hiatus, Supergirl has taken things relatively easy. Reign receded into the background, while our heroes worked through their myriad personal issues. It offered a welcome reminder of the show’s aptitude for emotional intimacy and humor, as well as a necessary change of pace after the extended break.
But the end of the season draws closer. It’s time for Supergirl to get down to business.

"Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and Imra (guest star Amy Jackson) have different ideas on how to stop the third Worldkiller, Pestilence. However, when both Alex (Chyler Leigh) and Winn (Jeremy Jordan) are seriously injured by Pestilence, Supergirl and Imra team up to stop the destruction."
Frankly, it’s easy to forget that Imra exists. She has appeared only intermittently throughout the season, despite being Mon-El’s wife and a capable psychic. So far, her main function seems to be generating unnecessary tension between Kara and Mon-El.
Perhaps this week, we will finally get to see her in action. Her telepathic abilities should prove valuable in the fight against Pestilence, who, like the other Worldkillers, presumably possesses someone’s mind. Imra might have a better chance at communicating with Pestilence’s alter ego than Kara does.
Either way, we look forward to seeing the women interact without Mon-El getting in the way.
