Which designer will go into the history books on the Project Runway All Stars season 6 finale? For one designer, 13 is a very lucky number.
The season 6 finale of Project Runway All Stars should be a good one. The three remaining designers have proven themselves throughout the season. From impeccable tailoring to innovative fashion, each designer has a particular aesthetic.
Does any designer have an edge? It’s tough to say.
However, we do know that designer will make fashion history, even if this week’s synopsis doesn’t say too much. According to Lifetime, “Making Fashion History” features the following.
"The final three designers race to create seven-piece collections that make their mark in fashion history; guest judges Catherine Zeta-Jones and Zac Posen."
After last week’s Project Runway All Stars episode, it looks like the title is between Stanley and Fabio. Those two designers were the top looks last week. While Anthony’s look was nice, it wasn’t as impressive or technically superior to the other two designers.
It is difficult to determine if Stanley or Fabio has a real advantage, though. It might come down to the judges’ whim at that moment. The two designers are so different that they can’t be directly compared.
If the guest judges have an impact on the ultimate decision, I would give the edge to Stanley. I can’t see Catherine Zeta-Jones wearing Fabio’s looks. His designs, while intriguing, are meant for a particular client and aesthetic. Those look may not appeal to an older audience.
Stanley has a more classic, refined style. The impeccably tailored designs are timeless yet still have a nod to being fresh. As long as Stanley keeps his styling on point, he could pull out the win.
