Taylor Swift Nominated for a Kids Choice Award

It’s time to get slimed and to root for Taylor Swift in another awards show. Yes, you read right. Swift is nominated for another award and this time, it’s for the kids. 

On Monday, February 26, the nominations for the 2018 Kids Choice Awards were announced. The award show celebrates children’s favorites from movies, tv shows, music and social media. It’s a fun event filled with great performances, winners, an orange carpet, and yes, the green slime is always included.

Pop superstar Taylor Swift has been nominated for Favorite Female Artist among others including, Demi Lovato, Beyonce, Pink, Katy Perry, and Selena Gomez. The nominations were announced exclusively on PEOPLE on Monday. The winner for Favorite Female Artist will be announced during the award show on Saturday, March 24 at 8 pm ET/PT live at the Forum in Los Angeles.

You can vote for Taylor in the category starting on March 5. Other categories you can vote for include several music categories and Favorite Male Artist. More nominees and categories will be announced in the weeks to come. You can cast your vote for Taylor on Nickelodeon’s website, the app, your iPhone, Kindle or your android device. The voting will include special KCA hashtags and a hashtag of your favorite nominee in the category.
