In tonight’s new episode, “Black Jesus,” a new drug hits the streets of Freeland, and we’ve got all the details you need to watch Black Lightning online.
Last week, I considered “LaWanda: The Book of Burial” the best episode of Black Lightning season 1 so far. Granted, it’s only been three episodes, but I found the previous episode both incredibly moving and still lighthearted. Hopefully, Black Lightning will keep this up for future episodes. The pacing and tone are absolutely outstanding.
Each episode teases us with Anissa’s uprising. Though they were able to distract us by introducing Grace last week, I can’t wait to see Anissa really unleash hell as she grows to understand her powers. If you missed it, I also thought of another superhero who would fit really well in the “Lightningverse.”
