George Clooney

Yes, George Clooney has been a superhero. He was Batman that one time that involved the Bat-credit card and also Alicia Silverstone as Batgirl but also not Barbara Gordon. It’s complicated, and we don’t talk about it much anymore.

And this is almost certainly a pipe dream, but hey, Alec Guinness showed up in A New Hope, and then came back for voice-overs and appearances in the next two movies.

We know that Clooney is probably busy being a parent and making movies like Suburbicon, but just imagine him playing a Galactic Senator, maybe even someone in this dream Young Leia movie that we’re putting Millie Bobby Brown in.

You’re welcome.

Chadwick Boseman

Like Sebastian Stan, Chadwick Boseman is probably tied up for a good portion of the foreseeable future thanks to being a current superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

However, as an actor who has suddenly catapulted into the mainstream, and as part of the Disney ecosystem already … it seems like a natural fit. Like Clooney, we picture him playing a supporting role that wouldn’t make too much of a demand on his time, but if, somehow, we get him headlining an anthology movie, we’re not going to complain.

Basically, his appearance on this list is another wish for his career to continue to blossom.

Hey, he could even play a villain — and wouldn’t that be a change?
