Harry Potter and the Cursed Child: What will change on Broadway?

Now that Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is coming to Broadway, what is going to change? The cast is the same, the story the same, but what else?

We’re all excited for the new year and all the new Harry Potter things coming in 2018. From a new Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them movie to Harry Potter and the Cursed Child coming to Broadway, our hands are pretty full!

But the question is: What will change from the West End production to the Broadway show? Will the Great White Way really have a new show or is it just the transferring show without many changes?

For many, they went out of their way to see the show in London and now that it is on our own shores, we can easily (if you can get at ticket) relive the magic. So are we going to just get a carbon copy of something that already exists out there?

Personally, I don’t think so. I think they’ll change some things, make it more accessible to American audiences because it is, after all, a different show in a lot of ways. It isn’t just a carbon copy like we’ve seen because we are in a different place. That being said, it could end up just being the same version of what was on the West End.

Which is fine because many of us have yet to see the show and we can’t wait until it opens on Broadway!

Do you think they’ll change anything in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child? Or do you think it’ll be the same that was on the West End? Sound off in the comments below! We can’t wait to see the show when it hits the United States!
