Freeform is cancelling Harry Potter weekend because we can’t have anything good
Freeform is cancelling Harry Potter weekends because we can’t have nice things anymore. 2017 officially sucks.
For years, Harry Potter weekend has been a tradition honored by fans. But now Freeform is cancelling it and so we have to cancel 2017. Everything has to come to an end, but there is no reason that Harry Potter weekend must end. It isn’t like the ratings can be bad. Literally ever fan tunes in when there’s a Harry Potter weekend and look, there are a lot of us. So why the sudden cancellation?
Who knows but it isn’t great. With everything going on in the world, our solace was in our favorite things. One of those things being Harry Potter weekends. But now, it seems, that even that tradition is not safe. Especially for the evil people over at Freeform.
How would you like to be the man responsible for ruining everything for everyone? Which Freeform executive was responsible for the end of this time honored tradition? Do you have a soul?
I mean probably but we’re still going to be dramatic about this. This was our thing. It belonged to the Harry Potter fans and we always turned back to our favorite series. So taking it away from us when the world is in disarray? That’s just plain evil. It’s worse than Umbridge.
So now the question is: who is even going to watch Freeform? The joy it took from us is unforgivable and usually I say keep an open heart to things like this but in this case, no. Freeform is dead to me.
