11. Game of Thrones Wine

Eating your feelings after a great episode of any show is great, but for Game of Thrones, stress drinking is more accurate. And, with the show on hiatus until at least 2019, stress levels are even higher right now. Luckily, HBO is well aware of that and has plenty of options.

Actually, they have an entire site dedicated to them. For those on a budget, there’s a chardonnay and a red wine blend, each for $19.99. But, like any liquor shop, they’ve also got their top shelf product. The Game of Thrones cabernet sauvignon out of Napa Valley runs for $49.99.

And those are just the official ones. As reported by our friends at Winter Is Coming, a new Thrones beer is also on the way. More specifically, it is the Winter is Here double white ale, created by Brewery Ommegang. It’s meant to be a bit of a companion to their previously released Fire and Blood red ale.

As our editors found, it gets the job done and is a “a solid winter drink.” It’s true nothing can truly take the edge off a Game of Thrones episode, but these drinks certainly aren’t unhelpful. And, for $11.99, it’s worth a shot … well, more like a whole glass.

With holiday parties around the corner, arriving empty-handed is a big no. Gifting an official Game of Thrones drink shows that a friend’s emotions are definitely understood and is far easier to obtain for a GoT fan than a dragon. Probably. Just try to avoid having a Lady Olenna outcome.
