Patty Jenkins recruits Connie Nielsen for One Day She’ll Darken

It seems like a Wonder Woman reunion for One Day She’ll Darken. Connie Nielsen is slotted to star against Chris Pine in the Patty Jenkins series.

There is more news from Patty Jenkins’s One Day She’ll Darken. It seems that now Hipployta herself is joining the cast! Set to star opposite Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen will be joining the cast. So is this going to be a whole Wonder Woman reunion?

As of now, it is just Pine and Nielsen but still, wouldn’t that be fun? The story, for those who don’t know, follows Fauna Hodel. She was orphaned and grew up to find out that she had a connection to the Black Dahlia murder.

It is a very interesting story about a pretty incredible woman. And the fact that Connie Nielsen is joining the cast has us pretty excited! It also helps that Chris Pine is going to be a rough around the edges journalist, so what’s not to love?

India Eisley is set to play Fauna Hodel and, in a twist that only I probably care about, Jefferson Mays will be portraying Dr. George Hodel. Is this made for exclusively me? Maybe but look, this cast is insane and this is still one of the most interesting stories of the last century.

There is still so much we don’t know about the Black Dahlia and the people surrounding her murder. Although most point to George Hodel as the murderer, we just don’t know for sure. And it led to one of the most interesting stories yet.

Fauna Hodel had to discover a lot about herself and her family and I honestly cannot wait until we get to see One Day She’ll Darken. It is going to be a great show, especially with a cast like this.
