Taylor Swift’s Beverly Hills home may have a brick wall around the perimeter but according to a new report, it wasn’t quite tall enough for Swift, who is known to be followed by her fans and the paparazzi in Los Angeles. So, rather than deal with the walls as is, Swift applied for permits that would allow her to add to her privacy.

According to a new report, Swift has obtained permits that will allow her to completely block visibility to her Los Angeles mansion by putting up a 6.5 ft tall block wall by her front porch and a 7 ft high retaining wall by her tennis court.

Taylor Swift’s home is a historic landmark

On November 19, TMZ shared details of Swift’s recent renovation efforts, revealing that they 27-year-old singer also remodeled her front gate. The outlet also revealed that because Swift’s home has been designated a historic landmark by the city of Beverly Hills, it can be quite hard to make even the slightest alterations to the stunning property.

Phil Saveni, the Beverly Hills Historical Society present, told TMZ that Swift’s changes were approved by the city because they won’t have any “impact the integrity” of her home.

Swift purchased the Beverly Hills home in 2015.

Taylor Swift also has several other homes

Swift’s Beverly Hills landmark property is just one of her many homes. As fans well know, she also has a mega-mansion in Rhode Island, a townhouse in New York City, and a penthouse in Nashville, Tennessee.
