Reese Witherspoon and Sam Smith are reportedly unimpressed with Taylor Swift and her new album.

According to a new report, Witherspoon and Smith are currently facing tons of backlash after reportedly taking aim at Swift’s singing and songwriting skills on Twitter.

Sam Smith reportedly liked a diss tweet aimed at Taylor Swift

On November 14, Hollywood Life shared a report, revealing that user @DonnyV_35 had tweeted, “When someone thinks Taylor Swift is a better artist, singer, and song writer than Sam Smith,” along with a funny GIF of a man laughing hysterically.

Although there was no real harm done at that point, Smith reportedly “liked” the tweet.

As the outlet revealed, Smith “liking” the tweet and GIF was quite shocking, considering he has labeled Swift as a friend in the past. Even more shocking, perhaps, was the fact that Smith then “un-liked” the post and attempted to excuse himself from the potential diss by sharing a tweet from a fan who suggested he had “liked” the post by accident.

What did Reese Witherspoon do?

Continuing on to readers, Hollywood Life revealed that another fan shared a separate post in regard to Swift’s appearance on Saturday Night Live over the weekend which noted that they were excited for the episode only because Tiffany Haddish was hosting. A short time later, Witherspoon “liked” the tweet, despite the fact that she once received a private Swift concert on her 40th birthday.

While Smith suggested that his “like” was an accident, Witherspoon has yet to address the reason behind her own “like” on Twitter.
