Selena Gomez Dishes On A Potential Taylor Swift Collaboration

Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift have been close friends for several years but will they ever team up in a professional setting and release a new song together?

While fans have been hoping for a collaboration between Gomez and Swift for a while, Gomez didn’t have much to say about the potential track during a recent interview. In fact, Gomez shot down reports of being included on Swift’s Reputation album just a short while ago.

“I love Taylor. She’s been my sister for years,” Gomez told Hugo Gloss, according to a November 9 report by Hollywood Life.

Because Gomez and Swift haven’t been seen with one another much in recent years, many have suspected that the ladies aren’t as close as they once were. However, according to Gomez, she and Swift remain tight. That said, a collaboration simply isn’t something that will happen anytime soon.

Continuing on to Hugo Gloss, Gomez said that while she and Swift have talked about teaming up on a song before, their friendship is far more important than furthering their careers.

“Not to say that we never will… We’ll see, maybe. What I’m saying is not right now,” Gomez added.

Months after Swift and her new boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, stepped out together in Nashville, Tennessee, Gomez reunited with her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Justin Bieber, and ever since, both relationships seem to be going strong.

As for a potential future double date between the two pairs, the idea has reportedly been discussed.
