Taylor Swift Gushes Over Boyfriend Joe Alwyn In ‘Call It What You Want’?

Is Taylor Swift singing about her British actor boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, in her just-released new song, “Call It What You Want”? That’s what a new report suggests.

Hours after Swift released “Call It What You Want” at midnight, rumors began swirling in regard to who the song may be about and the majority of fans appear to be convinced that Alwyn inspired a number of lyrics to the track.

“My baby’s fly like a jet stream/ High above the whole scene/ Loves me like I’m brand new so call me what you want,” she sings, according to a report by People magazine on November 3.

Swift and Alwyn were first spotted together at the end of 2016 but it wasn’t until late spring of this year when they were finally caught together and began facing rumors of a dating relationship. Around the same time, it was widely reported that Swift had been hiding out in London, England, where Alwyn resides, as she enjoyed a break from the spotlight.

“I want to wear his initial on a chain around my neck, not because he owns me/ but ‘cause he really knows me,” Swift also sings.

Following a number of highly publicized relationships with men, including Jake Gyllenhaal, Harry Styles, John Mayer, Calvin Harris, and Tom Hiddleston, Swift began dating Alwyn and made a point to keep her relationship private — and she’s done an amazing job. After all, she and Alwyn have reportedly been together for about a year but only a handful of photos of the two of them together have been shared.
