Taylor Swift released a new song at midnight and already, rumors are swirling in regard to what the new track, “Gorgeous,” is about.

As Fans of Taylor reported on Thursday, rumors swirled prior to the track’s release which suggested the song may be a diss track aimed at Kanye West. However, now that the song has been shared with Swift’s many fans and followers, rumors claim it may be a love song for the 27-year-old’s latest love interest, British actor Joe Alwyn.

Taylor Swift is singing about Joe Alwyn’s blue eyes?

“Ocean blue eyes looking in mine, I feel like I might sink and drown and die,” Swift sings on the recently released song, according to a report by Hollywood Life on October 20.

Swift then sings about having an older boyfriend when she and the mystery man of her song first met. While she doesn’t go into detail about who that older man may be, she dated 36-year-old actor Tom Hiddleston up until late summer of last year, months before she and Alwyn reportedly struck up their romance.

Before Hiddleston, Swift dated 33-year-old Calvin Harris for 15 months.

Taylor Swift may have already confirmed that ‘Gorgeous’ is about Joe Alwyn

According to Hollywood Life, fans online have claimed that Swift confirmed that her new song was about Alwyn during one of her recent album listening parties with several fans present. That said, no video or audio proof of any such thing exists.

Swift’s new album, Reputation, will be released on November 10.
