The old Taylor may be dead but the continuous slayage of the charts keeps on coming, especially with her newest hit “Look What You Made Me Do”.
After predictions of Taylor Swift’s newest hit “Look What You Made Me Do” hitting No.1 on Billboard’s Pop Radio chart, it is now official. “Look What You Made Me Do” has hit No.1 and is Swift’s eight single to do so. Swift keeps landing success after success with the track and it’s not ending anytime soon.
Songs that have hit the No.1 spot on the chart include, “Wildest Dreams,” “Bad Blood,” “Blank Space,” “Shake It Off,” “Style,” “I Knew You Were Trouble” and “Love Story”. Each song spent multiple weeks on the charts. Swift is now one of seven acts who have multiple No.1’s on the chart, which began in 1992. Her success on the chart hasn’t stopped and will continue to grow from here on out.
While “Look What You Made Me Do” sits comfortably at the No.1 spot, her promo single “…Ready For It?” skyrockets to No.19, which is high on the Pop charts, and marks two songs from Swift that are performing well in the top 20. This is a rarity for any artist but proves that the success of Swift’s sixth studio album reputation has only begun. According to Billboard, this success is a good thing and speaks positively about the upcoming album.
Taylor Swift’s sixth studio album reputation is set to hit retail stores and streaming services everywhere on November 10.
