Will & Grace came back with a vengeance and left no Trump joke unsaid

The Will & Grace reboot premiered last night, and is it really surprising that they spent the 30 minutes tearing Trump apart?

We have been waiting for the return of Will & Grace for some time now. Everyone loved the boundary-pushing show back when it premiered in 1998, so are you really surprised that it is politically charged this come around?

The premiere started and instantly the Trump jokes started flowing in. Not in a bad way. More in a “We recognize what Karen is” way. But the jokes didn’t stop there. The entire first episode was setting the tone for how Will & Grace is going to tackle a Trump presidency.

It was insane and funny and still reminded us of the show we loved. Grace finds herself redesigning the Oval Office, and Will found a hot Congressman who wanted to take money away from energy research.

The best part of the entire episode? Well, first, Will and Grace have a pillow fight in the Oval Office. Then, once Grace loses the job, she leaves a bit of a message behind for the president. The last thing we see is a hat that says “Make America Gay Again” and really proved to us what show we were getting.

And we love it! If the show just let the current political climate go by without commentary, then it wouldn’t be the show we fell in love with. This was the Will & Grace we knew and loved with the same characters. It was so much fun and really got us ready for more! Now we just have to wait week after week for new episodes!
