Rolling Stone Calls Taylor Swift’s ‘reputation’ Lyrically Sharp
By Kara Johnson
As November 10 fastly approaches, more details about Taylor Swift’s sixth studio album reputation are being released and we couldn’t be happier.
We thank Ed Sheeran for telling us how diverse the album is and we thank Joseph Kahn for letting us know that it’s a masterpiece. We thank every person who has given us even the smallest detail about Swift’s upcoming album. There is no doubt that the album will be good but our hearts are set on just how good it’s going to be.
There are many albums coming out this Fall but Swift’s reputation is the most highly anticipated one and one that everyone will be talking about on its release date. In fact, it’s the one album that everyone is already talking about, including Rolling Stone. In their October issues, the publication spoke about reputation being Falls “tightly guarded secret” and many other things that have us excited.
They discuss many things from the lyrical content to comparing it to 1989, which is interesting but has us intrigued. In fact, many think we could be getting a pop version of RED with the lyrical and emotional content of the album. Rolling Stone quite literally stated that the album will be lyrically sharper and emotionally more complex. That sure sounds like it could be a poppier version of RED. But we won’t find out until November 10.
What do you think we can expect more of from reputation? Do you think it will be another version of RED? Let us know by sounding off in the comments below or tweeting us @FansOfTaylorFS
