Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, is not being urged to break up with her.

Although a recent report from Life & Style claimed that Alwyn’s friends were concerned that his career would be impacted by the controversy surrounding Swift’s new persona and new album, Reputation, Gossip Cop claims there is no truth to the report.

As fans may have seen, a source spoke to Life & Style earlier this week and said that Alwyn was being urged to break up with the 27-year-old “Look What You Made Me Do” singer before he ended up in the midst of her media circus.

While Swift and Alwyn have been dating for several months, they’ve done their best to steer clear of photographers throughout their romance.

Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn were recently spotted in NYC

As Swift prepares to promote her new album, she and Alwyn appear to be spending the majority of their time in the Big Apple, where Swift owns an apartment. Swift and Alwyn have also been seen together in Nashville and London, where Alwyn’s family resides.

Taylor Swift endured two public splits in 2016

At the start of 2016, Swift was involved in a romance with Calvin Harris, who she met at the 2015 Brit Awards, but in May of that same year, their relationship came to an end and Swift quickly moved on with Tom Hiddleston.

As fans will recall, Swift and Hiddleston’s romance was highly publicized and the couple was photographed together around the world. However, just months into their whirlwind relationship, rumors began swirling in regard to a split and in September 2016, their relationship’s end was confirmed.
