Remember when Taylor Swift enlisted all of her friends in a music video and premiered it at the VMA’s? That is our Throwback Thursday.

If you don’t remember much of anything from 2015, there is one thing we have to remind you of and that’s Taylor Swift’s music video for her hit song “Bad Blood”. It was a star-studded event that featured many of Swift’s friends including Lena Dunham, Lily Aldridge, and Selena Gomez.

The music video was promoted like a movie with several movie posters featuring the characters.

And these photos don’t even display all of the characters. It’s a star-studded film where several of the singer’s friends play sci-fi assassins, and yes, they kick butt at it. After weeks of promo for the video, when it premiered, we can honestly say it was worth the wait.

Swift appears as the main character ‘Catastrophe’ – part of the assassin squad that is displayed throughout the video. Throughout the video, Swift and her group of assassins battle the enemy, Arsyn (Selena Gomez). In the midst of fighting crime and practicing for war, Kendrick Lamar comes in and adds his own bars and hooks, which takes the song to a different level.

The elaborate music video was directed by Joseph Kahn, who has also helmed “Blank Space” and “Look What You Made Me Do”. While it may be a different video for Swift than her other ones previous, it still tells a story and a good one that only she can master perfectly.

The music video went to win a Grammy Award and was highly praised by several critics and fans after its release. The song is from Swift’s fifth studio album 1989. You can watch the music video below.
