Hilary Clinton appears to be Team Swift.

After Taylor Swift won her $1 million lawsuit against DJ David Mueller, who she claimed assaulted her during a 2013 meet and greet, the former First Lady took to Twitter where she reportedly liked a tweet shared by Shannon Watts, the founder of Moms Demand Action, an organization working to end gun violence.

In the tweet, as Marie Claire magazine pointed out, an article from Jezebel was quoted, saying, “Taylor Swift is doing this to show every girl that they don’t have to tolerate sexual assault. Thank you, @taylorswift13!”

Did Taylor Swift vote for Hilary Clinton in last year’s election?

Although there is no real way to know whether Swift was Team Clinton or Team Trump, she was spotted with a number of other women who supported Clinton at the end of last year.

On October 6, 2016, Tara Summers, a friend of Swift’s, shared the image below, along with the caption, “#imwithher #hillary2016 #hillary #hillary #hillary.”

Taylor Swift is donating her lawsuit earnings to victims of sexual assault

After a judge awarded Swift with $1 million, the singer released a victory statement.

“I want to thank Judge William J. Martinez and the jury for their careful consideration, my attorneys Doug Baldridge, Danielle Foley, Jay Schaudies and Katie Wright for fighting for me and anyone who feels silenced by a sexual assault, and especially anyone who offered their support throughout this four-year ordeal and two-year long trial process,” Swift said in a statement to Us Weekly.

“I acknowledge the privilege that I benefit from in life, in society and in my ability to shoulder the enormous cost of defending myself in a trial like this,” her statement continued. “My hope is to help those whose voices should also be heard. Therefore, I will be making donations in the near future to multiple organizations that help sexual assault victims defend themselves.”
