Loki at Greenhill Humane Society in Eugene, Oregon
Loki may be a supreme villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but Tom Hiddleston has made the character wildly popular among fans. His black hair and wild costumes have made him the subject of many, many gifsets on Tumblr, not to mention a ton of fan fiction.
Although Loki the rabbit is named after Thor’s power-hungry brother, this little man doesn’t have an evil bone in his body. His short ears, patchy white nose, and small size make him especially adorable. Loki is two years old and neutered, but weighs just six and a half pounds. He’s really friendly! Especially with people.
Loki also likes cats, and he would prefer a home where he has some freedom to run around. He’s an indoor baby only. Heck, maybe if his namesake had been offered the kind of love this rabbit wants, he wouldn’t have ended up so bent on destroying the world. The volunteers at Greenhill Humane Society cite Loki as one of their favorites. From his adoption page: “[Loki] likes to be cradled like a baby”, and he “seeks out human attention. He will come towards your voice when you talk to him.” Also, “when you scratch his butt he turns in circles! So cute!”
What an absolutely delightful rabbit! As they say, never judge a book by its cover… or a pet by its namesake.
