Marvel’s The Defenders is a culmination of four separate shows coming together. We have a list of six things we want to see on the small screen.

When Marvel’s Daredevil came to Netflix in 2015, remember how many rumors there were about The Defenders coming down the line?

It was a crazy pipe dream at that point in time. This was a bit of a risk for Marvel, especially since its other television counterparts — Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter — weren’t the strongest. Why take another risk when the most recent attempt involved Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner? How many people will tune in if that’s all we can think of?

Maybe not too surprisingly, the show became a hit. A second season was announced, as was Jessica Jones. And then a spin-off from that one for Luke Cage. And then Iron Fist came down the pipe, and we all knew that our crazy pipe dream wasn’t so far off.

Marvel’s The Defenders graces our Netflix screens on Aug. 18, and it’s a culmination of four television shows and five seasons worth of storylines. We here at Culturess are so excited to see what epic things are going to happen when four super-powered people finally get to team up!

So we’ve compiled six things that we really want to see happen in these eight episodes.
