Harry Potter and the Broadway cast we’re very interested in seeing

Being a fan of Harry Potter means that we’re spoiled. We know everything and anything about the series but this play has been a mystery to some.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has been both a curse and a blessing to fans of the series. A new story of our favorite characters? What’s not to love?! Well, it isn’t the easiest to read because it tends to lead more towards fanfiction we read as children rather than a continuation of the story we know and love.

But besides that, there are lots of stories about how amazing it is to see the production live. The magic comes to life and fans really feel like they’re finally part of Harry, Ron, and Hermione’s story.

So for many American fans, we’re upset. Not because London got it first. That only makes sense. But rather because we also want to experience that magic. And now, lucky for us, the original cast is coming to New York to premiere it.

For someone like me, I already have my tickets on alert so I know the minute they’re on sale. But still, it is an interesting experience. For once, we’re not living this magic together. Some have already experienced the play and others are still waiting for it to come across the pond.

It’s not our normal bond between Harry Potter fans and it takes a second for all of us to get used to the fact that this is different from everything we’ve seen before. But that’s okay, at least now American fans will also be able to appreciate the magic that is Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
