Taylor Swift and former Denver DJ David Mueller are headed to court next week and in a new report, new details are being shared about Mueller’s date to the 2013 concert where his alleged groping occurred.

According to the new report, several witnesses recently gave their depositions and among them is Shannon Melcher, who was with Mueller during the backstage “meet and greet”.

In her deposition, which was shared by CBS Denver on August 3, Melcher revealed that she met with Mueller’s boss, Eddie Haskell, just before the photo was taken of Swift and Mueller.

“He (Mueller) told me that Eddie Haskell was kind of joking around, that he knew Taylor Swift wore biker shorts under her outfit,” Melcher said.

What did the photo reveal?

In the photo of Swift and Mueller, Mueller’s hand is seen behind Swift and while it appears to be positioned at a low point, his hand’s exact location is not revealed. That said, Swift has insisted that Mueller grabbed her buttocks.

Of the allegations, Melcher said, “I wasn’t looking over at David to see how he was leaning over or what the interaction was.”

“It is hard for me to believe he would intentionally do something like that to a woman,” she added.

Taylor Swift and David Mueller are suing each other

After the allegations surfaced, Mueller lost his job and filed a lawsuit against Swift, claiming she caused him to lose his job. In response, Swift countersued Mueller, claiming she was a victim of assault.

Legal Analyst Karen Steinhauser spoke to CBS Denver and said that Mueller is trying to regain his financial losses.

“He has to prove that she interfered with his right to work — basically that she interfered with his business contract with the radio station of which he was a DJ,” she said.
