Taylor Swift isn’t taking any chances when it comes to her new romance.

After parading her relationship with Tom Hiddleston around the world one year ago, the 27-year-old “Wildest Dreams” singer has turned over a new leaf and dedicated herself to keeping her new romance with Joe Alwyn as secretive as she possibly can.

So, when it comes to Swift and Alwyn, fans shouldn’t expect to see the couple touring Europe anytime soon, nor should they anticipate Alwyn rocking an “I [Heart] T.S.” T-shirt like Hiddleston did last July. Instead, as The Quebec Telegram noted on July 31, they shouldn’t expect to see much at all.

The saying, “to live happy, live hidden,” seems to be Swift’s motto — and that may be for more than one reason. After all, in addition to her new boyfriend, Swift is also working on new music.

Taylor Swift could release new music in a matter of months

“She’s aiming to release an album this fall,” an insider told Us Weekly magazine month ago. “She’s continuing down the pop route because 1989 was a huge success and fans really gravitated toward that album.”

“She knows there’s a demand for a new album and has really started focusing on making that happen for fans. She’s just excited to get back out there,” the source added.

Taylor Swift went public with Joe Alwyn in May

In the midst of working on her upcoming album, Swift and Alwyn were caught together at an airport in England and later surfaced on a balcony in Nashville, Tennessee.
